The complete chloroplast genome of a distinctive fern, Coniogramme intermedia (Pteridaceae)

Coniogramme intermedia is a morphologically distinctive species in the genus because of lanceolate pinnules with serrate margins, laminas with pilose abaxially and hydathodes extending into teeth or rarely into tooth margin, which mainly distributed in the tropical and subtropical regions of Asia. Hereat, we report the first complete chloroplast genome sequence of C. intermedia.

中间凤丫蕨（Coniogramme intermedia）是凤丫蕨属（Coniogramme）内形态特征独具辨识度的物种，其凭借披针形羽片、叶缘具锯齿，叶背面被柔毛，且排水器延伸至齿端（极少延伸至齿缘）的特征区别于同属其他类群。该物种主要分布于亚洲热带与亚热带地区。本研究首次报道了中间凤丫蕨的完整叶绿体基因组序列。
