The northwest region of China is one of the country's most significant grain-producing areas and possesses abundant saline water resources for development. However, it is also the most susceptible to drought and water scarcity. A study conducted over two winter wheat and two spring wheat seasons in this arid region examined the response to saline irrigation under rotary and subsoiling tillage management.
We believe our results have important implications for improving wheat productivity, water use efficiency, and carbon pool quality, all of which are crucial for national food security and sustainable agricultural development.
中国西北地区是我国核心粮食主产区之一,拥有丰富的可开发咸水资源,但同时也是受干旱与水资源短缺影响最为严重的区域之一。本研究在该干旱区域开展了两个冬小麦季与两个春小麦季的田间试验,探究了旋耕与深松耕作模式下作物对咸水灌溉的响应特征。
本研究结果对于提升小麦产量、水分利用效率及碳库质量具有重要指导价值,而上述指标对于保障国家粮食安全与农业可持续发展均至关重要。
