The gablestone of the former guild house of the winemeters and winemakers.The guild house was located in the center of Ghent, it has been destroyed, but the stone was preserved in the St Bavo Abbey. Both guilds have always worked together. The winemeters were responsible for measuring the correct amount of wine per pint. In the center is the coat of arms of the guild. On the left you can observe a winemeter mesuring wine and a servant cleaning the wares. The lower part represents the drunken Noah, mocked by his son Ham, in the presence of his brothers Shem and Japheth that cover his nakedness.
本数据集收录的文物为葡萄酒量酒员与酿酒师同业公会旧址的山墙纪念石。该公会旧址坐落于根特(Ghent)市中心,现已损毁,但此纪念石被保存于圣巴夫修道院(St Bavo Abbey)内。两公会始终保持协作:葡萄酒量酒员的职责为按品脱计量标准容量的葡萄酒。该石面中央镌刻有该公会的纹章;左侧浮雕可见一名葡萄酒量酒员正在计量葡萄酒,另有一名侍从正在擦拭器皿;浮雕下部则描绘了经典圣经场景:醉酒的诺亚被其子哈姆嘲弄,其兄弟闪与雅弗为其遮盖赤身。
