Herpetofauna (amphibian and reptile) occurrences in rainforest remnants of the Valparai Plateau, Anamalai Hills, Western Ghats, India (2017)

The data contain 410 occurrences of amphibians and reptiles recorded during time-constrained encounter surveys in six rainforest remnants of the Valparai Plateau, Anamalai Hills, Tamil Nadu, India, between September and October 2017. Twenty-five incidental records of mammals and herpetofauna have also been included.The data from time-constrained encounter surveys correspond to the following publication: Harikrishnan, S., Mudappa, D. & Raman, T. 本数据集包含2017年9月至10月间，在印度泰米尔纳德邦（Tamil Nadu）阿纳马莱丘陵（Anamalai Hills）瓦尔帕莱高原（Valparai Plateau）的6处雨林残存斑块中，采用限时偶遇调查法（time-constrained encounter surveys）记录到的410条两栖动物与爬行动物观测记录。此外还纳入了25条哺乳动物及两栖爬行动物区系（herpetofauna）的偶见记录。
