These are the data from the first experiment described in the paper, with one host plant (cabbage), and a factorial manipulation of founding population size and genetic background. Data were in excel, and I saved them as a comma delimited file. Column headings are: breeding (inbred or outbred), size (4 or 20), found (number of Bemisia removed after the oviposition period), success (0, 1: did the founders reproduce?), adults (# of adults found), fem (number of females found), propfem (proportion of females), rootadults (square root of the number of adults + 1), R (the net reproductive rate: number of adults found/number put in initially), rootR (the square root of R+1)
