The potential of two inocula found within the wastewater treatment plant to carry out denitrifying anaerobic methane oxidation (N-AOM) employing NO3- as the terminal electron acceptor was tested through batch incubations over a 100-day experiment. The microbial communities found in the inocula as well as during two sampling points during the microbial enrichment process were explored via 16s ILLUMINA sequencing.

本研究针对某污水处理厂内获取的两种接种物,测试其以硝酸根(NO₃⁻)作为末端电子受体开展反硝化厌氧甲烷氧化(denitrifying anaerobic methane oxidation, N-AOM)的潜能;实验通过分批培养方式进行,总时长为100天。此外,本研究采用16S ILLUMINA测序技术,对初始接种物以及微生物富集过程中的两个采样节点的微生物群落组成进行了解析。
