A dataset of molecular classification of endometrial cancer of Chinese Population, China 2020–2021.

Peking University People's Hospital (PKUPH, Beijing, China) is the first general hospital financed and operated by the Chinese nationals that receives patients nationwide. Of the 240 patients diagnosed with newly diagnosed ECs at PKUPH from January 2020 to December 2021, 229 patients whose pathology was confirmed as EEC or SEC by histology were retrospectively analyzed. Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue was collected from the 229 EC patients. Clinical information obtained from hospital records included age at diagnosis, surgical stage, and disease status. The patients were staged according to the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics criteria. Tumor grade, histologic subtype, depth of myometrial invasion, and lymphovascular invasion were reviewed by a gynecologic pathologist based on the 2020 World Health Organization criteria. All ECs in this dataset were classified in one of the four molecular subgroups according a modified TCGA classification (TransPROTECT).

2020年1月至2021年12月期间，该院确诊的240例初诊子宫内膜癌（Endometrial Cancer, EC）患者中，经组织病理学证实为子宫内膜样子宫内膜癌（Endometrioid Endometrial Carcinoma, EEC）或浆液性子宫内膜癌（Serous Endometrial Carcinoma, SEC）的229例患者被纳入回顾性分析。
研究收集了该229例EC患者的福尔马林固定石蜡包埋（Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded, FFPE）组织样本。
从医院病历中提取的临床信息包括确诊年龄、手术分期及疾病状态，患者分期参照国际妇产科联盟（International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics, FIGO）标准进行。
肿瘤分级、组织学亚型、肌层浸润深度及淋巴血管浸润情况均由一名妇科病理医师参照2020年世界卫生组织（World Health Organization, WHO）标准进行复核。
本数据集内所有EC病例均通过改良的癌症基因组图谱（The Cancer Genome Atlas, TCGA）分类体系（TransPROTECT）被划分为四大分子亚型之一。
