Partial Mechanical Restraint video files of juvenile Japanese quail (first half)

Partial Mechanical Restraint was performed on juvenile Japanese quail (40 days of age). Test consisted in restricting the movement of the animal between two walls of a melamine box of 20 x 10 cm (height per width, respectively) with the characteristic that the front wall was made of glass, and the back wall was adjustable to induce immobility in such a way that the animal cannot open the wings, but can move the head and legs. The experimenters retreated out of the birds' sight, and the test was during 5 minutes recorded with a video camera place in front of the box. All the birds were tested in 31 batches of 4 animals each, where the birds had no visual or physical contact between each other. File name includes the ID number of the four birds tested.

针对40日龄的幼年日本鹌鹑（Japanese quail）开展了部分机械束缚（Partial Mechanical Restraint）实验。实验装置为尺寸20×10cm（高×宽，对应原文标注的height per width, respectively）的三聚氰胺（melamine）箱体，箱体设有前壁与后壁：前壁采用玻璃材质，后壁可调节，以此实现束缚效果——受试动物无法展开翅膀，但可活动头部与腿部。实验人员退至鹌鹑的视线范围之外，实验全程由置于箱体前方的摄像机录制，时长为5分钟。所有受试鹌鹑以31组为单位进行测试，每组4只，组内个体之间无视觉与物理接触。文件名包含本次测试的4只鹌鹑的编号信息。
