Household Hazardous Waste Characterization and Recycling Behavior

The Da WeZard project (Da: Data | We: Citizen, collaborative | Zard: Hazardous waste) is a Citizen Science project that aims to characterise and quantify hazardous household waste in Portugal. The project was condcted in the Municipality of Leiria with the active participation of Scouts from the Leiria-Fátima Region. The dataset has 158 inquiries, registered by Scout living at Leiria region, Portugal. The information concerning characterization protocol and questions are in other files at Zenodo, DaWeZard project. The dataset is referent to characterization occurred in October-November 2025 and has the amount of HHW generated by 8 types, their destination and destination of the container, as well the recycling behavior of participants conceringthose wastes.Da WeZard项目（Da：数据 | We：公民、协作 | Zard：危险废物）是一项公民科学（Citizen Science）项目，旨在对葡萄牙境内的家用危险废物进行表征与量化分析。本项目在莱里亚（Leiria）自治市开展，得到了莱里亚-法蒂玛地区童子军的积极参与。 该数据集共包含158份调研问卷，均由葡萄牙莱里亚地区的童子军登记录入。有关表征规程与调研问题的相关资料，均收录于Zenodo平台上的DaWeZard项目附属文件中。 本数据集对应的表征工作开展于2025年10月至11月，涵盖8类家用危险废物（Hazardous Household Waste，HHW）的产生量、处置去向及容器处置情况，同时包含参与者针对此类废物的回收行为数据。
