Due to the many studies highlights a marked acceleration of rock glaciers after 1990s in the European Alps, a long-term monitoring dataset on Laurichard rock glacier (Ecrins National Parc) was established to investigate rock glacier behavior. Many historical and more recent aerial surveys from ~1950 until 2019 were processed using Structure for Motion (SfM) techniques. Classical Difference of DEM's (DoD) and feature tracking process were applied to document surface elevation changes and surface velocity displacements respectively, at a decadal time scale for 8 sub-periods. Additionally, 40 years of DGPS measurements were used as reference to validate our results. The data help to get more detailed insights into long-term rock glacier behavior and the relationship with climate forcing.

鉴于多项研究表明,1990年代后欧洲阿尔卑斯山区的岩质冰川(rock glacier)运动显著加速,本研究针对地处埃克兰国家公园(Ecrins National Parc)的洛里沙尔岩质冰川(Laurichard rock glacier)建立了长期监测数据集,以探究岩质冰川的动态行为。诸多约1950年至2019年间的历史与近期航空测量数据,均通过运动结构(Structure for Motion, SfM)技术完成了处理。研究分别采用经典的数字高程模型(Digital Elevation Model, DEM)差分法(Difference of DEM's, DoD)与特征追踪流程,对8个亚时段的年代际尺度地表高程变化与地表位移速度进行了量化记录。此外,本研究还采用了长达40年的差分全球定位系统(Differential Global Positioning System, DGPS)测量数据作为参考基准,对所得结果进行了验证。该数据集可为深入解析岩质冰川的长期动态行为及其与气候强迫(climate forcing)的关联机制提供更为详实的科学支撑。
