The multidrug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii is an emerging threat in hospital acquired infections with increased morbidity and mortality. The genome sequences of three A. baumannii clinical isolates (BJAB0715, BJAB0868 and BJAB07104) from Bejing, which were resistant to multiple antibiotics, were sequenced and compared with 10 other A. baumannii strains. All three strains have a genome of about 4M basepairs (bps) encoding about 3800 proteins and contain a drug-resistant blaOXA-23 gene.
多重耐药鲍曼不动杆菌(Acinetobacter baumannii)是医院获得性感染中的新兴威胁,可导致更高的发病率与死亡率。本研究对3株源自北京的多重耐药鲍曼不动杆菌临床分离株(BJAB0715、BJAB0868及BJAB07104)进行了全基因组测序,并与另外10株鲍曼不动杆菌菌株开展比对分析。上述3株菌株的基因组大小约为400万碱基对(basepairs,bps),编码约3800个蛋白质,且均携带耐药基因blaOXA-23。
