This study investigates the impact of gut microbiota on malignant pleural effusion (MPE) in mice on a high-fat diet. Fecal samples were collected from Shaw-control mice on a high-fat diet, MPE-modelled mice on a normal diet, MPE-modelled mice on a high-fat diet and healthy controls. Metagenomic sequencing was performed by Shanghai OE Biotech Co., Ltd., and bioinformatics analysis focused on microbial taxonomic composition. Data generated from this study contribute to understanding the link between high fat diet-induced microbiome shifts and MPE development.
本研究探讨了高脂饮食小鼠的肠道菌群对恶性胸腔积液(malignant pleural effusion, MPE)的影响。研究人员从高脂饮食的Shaw对照小鼠、正常饮食的MPE造模小鼠、高脂饮食的MPE造模小鼠以及健康对照小鼠中采集粪便样本。宏基因组测序由上海OE生物科技有限公司(Shanghai OE Biotech Co., Ltd.)完成,生物信息学分析聚焦于微生物分类组成。本研究产生的数据可为阐明高脂饮食诱导的菌群改变与MPE发生之间的关联提供支持。
