Dataset to study "Blue Infrastructure as Nature-based Solutions for Urban Sustainability: Evaluating Local Perceptions from four Indian Megacities"

This dataset includes the raw data from a survey of 616 respondents conducted in four Indian megacities, focusing on urban waterscapes. The dataset sheet presents respondents' socio-demographic characteristics, including city name, gender, age, education, year of living, visit to waterscape, and occupation. It then displays responses to Likert-scale questions (ranging from 1, "not important," to 5, "very important") regarding the significance of ecosystem services from urban waterscapes, both neglected and well-maintained. Dataset includes sustainability challenges faced by urban residents and perceptions on the significance of ecosystem services to mitigate sustainability challenges.
