This dataset is for the paper "Agricultural diversification promotes sustainability and resilience in global rice production". Agricultural diversification is a powerful method to enhance ecosystem services, social benefits, and yields in major cropping systems globally. Rice is a staple food for half of the human population, but diversification effects on rice yields, economy, biodiversity, and ecosystem services have not been synthesized. Here, we combine a second-order meta-analysis based on 25 meta-analyses and three individual meta-analyses based on 39 research articles to close major research gaps to summarize all scientific knowledge on the effect of diversification practices on environmental and socio-economic aspects in global rice production. The dataset cover: 36 meta-analyses paper and 109 research papers for vote counting; 25 meta-analyses for second-order meta-analysis, 39 research papers for three individual meta-analyses
本数据集配套于论文《农业多样化促进全球水稻生产的可持续性与韧性》。农业多样化是提升全球主要种植系统生态系统服务、社会效益与产量的有力手段。水稻作为全球半数人口的主粮,目前尚未有研究对多样化措施在水稻产量、经济、生物多样性及生态系统服务方面的影响进行综合整合。本研究结合基于25项元分析(meta-analysis)的二阶元分析(second-order meta-analysis),以及基于39篇研究论文的3项独立元分析,以填补核心研究空白,系统梳理全球水稻生产中多样化实践对环境与社会经济各维度的全部科学认知。本数据集涵盖:用于投票计数的36篇元分析论文与109篇研究论文;用于二阶元分析的25项元分析,以及支撑3项独立元分析的39篇研究论文。
