Original Western blots

The data were generated to investigate the role of EDEM1 in glucose-stimultaed insulin secretion in pancreatic beta cells. We found that insulin biosynthesis and secretion are enhanced in INS-1E cells and in human islets. The ER stress of EDEM1 expressing cells is also investigated.

本数据集旨在探究内质网降解增强α-甘露糖苷酶样蛋白1（EDEM1）在胰腺β细胞葡萄糖刺激的胰岛素分泌过程中的作用。研究发现，INS-1E细胞与人胰岛中的胰岛素生物合成与分泌水平均得到提升。本研究同时对表达EDEM1的细胞的内质网应激（ER stress）情况进行了考察。
