A comprehensive compilation of Michaelis-Menten kinetic observations of methanotrophy

This is a compilation of all published measurements of the Michaelis-Menten kinetics of methanotrophy as of 10/2023. Relevant publications were identified using a Google Scholar search with the search terms “soil AND kinetic AND Michaelis-Menten OR Monod OR Vmax AND intitle:methane OR intitle:ch4.” Out of 909 results for these search terms, 67 publications dating from between 1987 and 2023 met the requirements for reporting Vmax and/or KM values for natural soils and are included here. This compilation supported the findings reported in the 2024 article "Evaluating the contribution of methanotrophy kinetics to uncertainty in the soil methane sink" published in Environmental Research Letters.
