This LTER Remote Sensing spatial raster dataset consists of LEDAPS corrected Landsat Enhanced Thematic Mapper image data for Arctic LTER, originally collected on 2011-06-09 (21:25:56.1990750Z) by Landsat 5, row 12, path 73. Cloud cover was 42.69 percent. The Landsat Ecosystem Disturbance Adaptive Processing System (LEDAPS) software was originally developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration–Goddard Space Flight Center and the University of Maryland to produce top-of-atmosphere reflectance from Landsat Thematic Mapper and Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus Level 1 digital numbers and to apply atmospheric corrections to generate a surface-reflectance product. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has adopted the LEDAPS algorithm for producing the Landsat Surface Reflectance Climate Data Record. 本数据集为北极长期生态研究(Long Term Ecological Research, LTER)专用的Landsat遥感空间栅格数据集,经Landsat生态扰动自适应处理系统(Landsat Ecosystem Disturbance Adaptive Processing System, LEDAPS)校正。其原始影像由Landsat 5卫星于2011年6月9日21时25分56.1990750秒(协调世界时)采集,轨道行号12、路径号73,云覆盖率为42.69%。
Landsat生态扰动自适应处理系统(LEDAPS)最初由美国国家航空航天局戈达德太空飞行中心与马里兰大学联合开发,可基于Landsat专题制图仪(Thematic Mapper, TM)及增强型专题制图仪Plus(Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus, ETM+)的一级数字量化值计算大气顶层反射率,并通过大气校正生成地表反射率产品。
美国地质调查局(U.S. Geological Survey, USGS)已采用LEDAPS算法生产Landsat地表反射率气候数据记录。
