The remote sensing monitoring and early warning data of desert locusts in key regions of Yemen in May 2024 was produced by comprehensively applying remote sensing monitoring and prediction models based on multi-source remote sensing images, meteorological data and ground observation information. This data depicts the distribution of desert locusts in key regions of Yemen during that month, providing scientific support for local locust prevention and control, disaster assessment and safe agricultural production, while also facilitating the optimization of the global desert locust monitoring system and the enhancement of regional joint prevention and control capabilities.
