The genome of the white spruce, genotype PG29. This naturally occurring individual (isolate) of white spruce has been determined to be a product of historic hybridization events with both Sitka spruce and Engelmann spruce. The estimation is that the genome contains an approximate contribution from Sitka spruce of ~9% and Engelmann spruce of ~30%.
