Data Source of Neglected Risks in the Chinese Insurers’ Misconduct Caused by Digitalization

In this database, we have made publicly available partial data from an empirical study on the impact of digital transformation in insurers' misconduct. This dataset is a company-year panel data. The database mainly includes digital transformation data (extracted from annual report text analysis) and data on company financial status, internal structure, and personnel composition (obtained from the China Insurance Statistical Yearbook).To protect company privaMisconductcy, the data has been anonymized. Since the dependent variable (Misconduct) is obtained from government documents, considering the sensitivity of the data, this part is not disclosed.

本数据库公开了一项针对保险公司不当行为受数字化转型影响的实证研究的部分数据。本数据集为公司-年度面板数据。该数据库主要包含数字化转型数据（从年报文本分析中提取）以及公司财务状况、内部结构与人员构成数据（取自《中国保险统计年鉴》）。为保护公司隐私，本数据集已完成匿名化处理。由于因变量（不当行为（Misconduct））取自政府文件，考虑到数据敏感性，该部分内容未予公开。
