Phylogenomics of tinamous

Tinamous are an ancient group of ground-dwelling birds distributed throughout the Neotropics. This project leverages whole genome sequencing reads to reconstruct a species-level phylogenetic tree for these birds based on thousands of ortholog gene sequences.

䳍（Tinamous）是一类古老的地栖鸟类，广泛分布于新热带界（Neotropics）。本研究借助全基因组测序读段，基于数千条直系同源基因序列，为该类鸟类构建物种水平的系统发育树。
