Catalytic Thia-Sommelet−Hauser Rearrangement: Application to the Synthesis of Oxindoles

A series of 3-arylthio-1,3-disubstituted-oxindoles were prepared in good yields by the reaction of α-diazocarbonyl compounds and sulfenamides. The reaction involves a Rh-catalyzed thia-Sommelet−Hauser-type rearrangement.通过α-重氮羰基化合物 (α-diazocarbonyl compounds) 与次磺酰胺 (sulfenamides) 的反应，可合成一系列3-芳硫基-1,3-二取代吲哚酮 (oxindoles)，且收率良好。该反应涉及铑 (Rh) 催化的硫代-Sommelet−Hauser型重排反应。
