These volumes contain circulars sent to surveyors by the Surveyor General. The circulars relate to such matters as the correct procedure to be taken in surveying conditional purchases, the applications of various persons for land, the valuation of land and the variations in Acts administered by the Lands Department. In most cases the number of the related papers is given and occasionally, notations have been made in the margin as to whom the letter has been circulated.(3/6734-35). 2 vols.
