This dataset includes data related to the ecological environment of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 1976 to 1982, covering land resources, vegetation resources, animal resources, water resources, landscape pattern and physical geographic regionalization. The data is sourced from *Natural Conditions and Resources of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic*, published in 1982, which was jointly surveyed, mapped and compiled by the Geodesy and Cartography Department of the former Soviet Union and the Faculty of Geography of the former Kazakh Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union. The data in this publication was collected between 1976 and 1982.
