This data directory contains the list of recipients of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award from 2018 to the present. In accordance with relevant regulations including the *Measures for the Science and Technology Awards of Guangdong Province*, the Guangdong Provincial People's Government organized the evaluation work for the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Awards. The award is granted by the Provincial People's Government to individuals and organizations that have completed, applied and popularized innovative scientific and technological achievements, and made outstanding contributions to promoting scientific and technological progress, economic and social development, or science popularization, through the procedures of comprehensive evaluation by the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Award Evaluation Committee, review by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and approval by the Provincial People's Government.
