This study examines the role of rootstock genotype and local environmental conditions in shaping the gene expression of the scion in grafted grapes. Rootstocks have been shown to modulate elemental composition, metabolomic profile, and the shape of leaves in the scion, among other traits. However, it is currently unclear how the rootstock genotype influences shoot system gene expression as previous studies have reported complex and often contradictory findings. In the present study, we examine the influence of grafting on scion gene expression in the leaves and reproductive tissues over time as vines experience a range of local environmental conditions.

本研究旨在探究砧木(rootstock)基因型与局域环境条件对嫁接葡萄接穗(scion)基因表达的调控作用。已有研究证实,砧木可调控接穗的元素组成、代谢组谱以及叶片形态等诸多性状。然而,由于既往相关研究得出的结果复杂且常存在矛盾,目前学界尚未明确砧木基因型如何影响接穗地上部系统的基因表达。本研究中,我们将考察在葡萄植株经历多种局域环境条件的过程中,嫁接作用对不同时间节点下接穗叶片与生殖组织基因表达的影响。
