Bulgaria - Enterprise Survey 2002

This research was conducted in Bulgaria from June 19 to July 31, 2002, as part of the second round of the Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey. The objective of the survey is to obtain feedback from enterprises on the state of the private sector as well as to help in building a panel of enterprise data that will make it possible to track changes in the business environment over time, thus allowing, for example, impact assessments of reforms. Through face-to-face interviews with firms in the manufacturing and services sectors, the survey assesses the constraints to private sector growth and creates statistically significant business environment indicators that are comparable across countries. The survey topics include company's characteristics, information about sales and suppliers, competition, infrastructure services, judiciary and law enforcement, security, government policies and regulations, bribery, sources of financing, overall business environment, performance and investment activities, and workforce composition.

本研究于2002年6月19日至7月31日在保加利亚开展，属于商业环境与企业绩效调查（Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey）第二轮项目。本次调查旨在收集企业对私营部门发展现状的反馈，同时助力构建企业面板数据集，以实现长期追踪商业环境的变化，例如可用于开展改革政策影响评估等工作。研究通过对制造业与服务业企业进行面对面访谈，评估私营部门发展面临的各类制约因素，并构建可跨国比较的、具有统计显著性的商业环境指标体系。本次调查涵盖的议题包括：企业基本特征、销售与供应商信息、市场竞争状况、基础设施服务、司法与执法、安全保障、政府政策与监管、行贿受贿情况、融资渠道、整体商业环境、经营绩效与投资活动，以及员工构成情况。
