These folders contain copies of questions upon notice asked by the Opposition in the House of Representatives, mainly in the months prior to the dismissal of the Whitlam Labor Government when J M (Malcolm) Fraser was Leader of the Opposition (March-November 1975). Particular attention is given to the Khemlani Loans Affair and other matters where Opposition criticism of the Government was primarily focussed. It was also the final period of the first (and only) session of the 29th Parliament. This Parliament began sitting on 9 July 1974 and was dissolved on 11 November 1975. These records are currently held at the University of Melbourne Archives.
