RNA-Seq analysis was carried out to investigate the effects of selective CDK8/19 inhibitor Senexin B and SNX631 on gene expression in LNCaP prostate cancer cells treated with or without androgen. Overall design: Androgen-deprived LNCaP cells were treated with vehicle control (0.1% DMSO), CDK8/19 inhibitors (1 μM Senexin B or 500 nM SNX631), synthetic androgen R1881 (0.1 or 1 nM), or a combination of CDK8/19 inhibitior and R1881 for 24 or 72 hours. Each treatment condition was done in biological triplicate or quadruplicate.
