HiGTS is a high-temporal-resolution, global gridded dataset of human heat stress indicators. Derived from ERA5-Land and ERA5 climate variables, this dataset includes hourly gridded data of the Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI), Universal Thermal Stress (UTS), and Daily Thermal Stress Duration (TSD) generated over global land surfaces at a spatial resolution of 0.1° × 0.1° from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2023. HiGTS_2003s4 contains data covering the period from October 1, 2003 to December 31, 2003.
