Single crystal of Nd3+ -doped SrB4O7 (SBO) has been successfully grown by the Czochralski method. The spectroscopic properties were investigated, and spectral parameters were calculated based on the Judd–Ofelt theory. The results suggest that the Nd:SBO crystal may have great potential as laser crystal, and through self-frequency doubling, it is expected to achieve the frequency conversion of the characteristic output of Nd3+ in the near infrared to obtain a visible laser.

采用丘克拉斯基(Czochralski)提拉法成功生长出掺三价钕离子(Nd³⁺)的四硼酸锶(SrB₄O₇,简称SBO)单晶体。随后对其光谱特性进行了系统研究,并基于贾德-奥弗特(Judd–Ofelt)理论计算得到相关光谱参数。研究结果显示,该Nd:SBO晶体作为激光晶体具备极大应用潜力;通过自倍频技术,有望实现三价钕离子特征近红外输出的频率转换,从而获得可见光激光。
