Data underlying the publication "Global civil aviation emissions estimates for 2017–2020 using ADS-B data"

3-D gridded estimates of monthly global civil fixed-wing aircraft emissions in the period from 2017 to 2020 (inclusive) obtained using the openAVEM model according to the methodology described in the published manuscript. Partial emissions for the year 2016 calculated from non global coverage are also included. The data includes fuel burn and emissions of NOx (oxides of nitrogen), HC (unburned hydrocarbons), CO, nvPM (non-volatile particulate matter, mass), nvPM_N (number of nvPM particles). Main engine and APU fuel burn and emissions from landing and takeoff (LTO) and non-LTO phases of flight (climb, cruise, descent) are included. Rotocraft emissions, tire, runway and brake dust, ground support equipment (GSE) and other airport emissions are not included. This dataset also includes global sums of aircraft emissions for test cases used in the emission model's sensitivity analysis, region assignment for each grid cell, and surface area of each grid cell.

本数据集为2017至2020年（含首尾年份）全球民用固定翼航空器月度排放的三维网格化估算结果，依据已发表论文中记载的方法学，通过openAVEM模型计算得到；同时纳入了2016年因全球覆盖范围不全所计算得到的部分排放数据。数据集涵盖燃油消耗量，以及氮氧化物（NOₓ, oxides of nitrogen）、未燃烧烃类（HC, unburned hydrocarbons）、一氧化碳（CO）、非挥发性颗粒物质量（nvPM, non-volatile particulate matter, mass）与非挥发性颗粒物数量（nvPM_N, number of nvPM particles）的排放情况。同时涵盖主发动机与辅助动力单元（APU, Auxiliary Power Unit）在着陆起飞（LTO, Landing and Takeoff）阶段以及飞行非LTO阶段（爬升、巡航、下降）的燃油消耗与排放数据。本数据集未纳入旋翼航空器排放、轮胎、跑道与制动粉尘、地面支持设备（GSE, Ground Support Equipment）及其他机场相关排放。此外，本数据集还包含用于该排放模型敏感性分析测试案例的全球航空器排放总量、每个网格单元的区域分配信息，以及各网格单元的表面积数据。
