The secondary land use categories are as follows: paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, perennial glacier and snow land, tidal flat, bottom land, urban land, rural residential areas, other construction land, sand land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Specifically, cultivated land (comprising both paddy fields and dry lands) is classified by landforms into mountainous, hilly, plain areas, and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees. The scale of this dataset is 1:100,000.
