Collaborative Research Centre 228: Future Rural Africa: Baseline Household Survey (2019) - Tanzania

This is a baseline household survey dataset of rural households from Morogoro and Iringa regions in Central Tanzania, collected in June and July 2019 as part of the Collaborative Research Center 228: Future Rural Africa project. In Tanzania, this project is a collaboration between the University of Bonn and the University of Cologne and Mzumbe University. The dataset is organised in 28 sections including household socio-demographic characteristics, aspiration and locus of control, asset holding, shock exposure, livestock and cropping patterns among others. The survey captures 4,001 individuals in 871 households across 60 enumeration areas. The dataset is provided in three different formats including CSV, STATA (dta) and SPSS (sav). A data dictionary and detailed codebook is also included with the dataset.

本数据集为坦桑尼亚中部莫罗戈罗（Morogoro）与伊林加（Iringa）地区农村家庭的基线家庭调查数据集，采集于2019年6月至7月，属于合作研究中心228（Collaborative Research Center 228）「未来非洲乡村（Future Rural Africa）」项目的组成部分。该项目在坦桑尼亚的合作实施方为波恩大学（University of Bonn）、科隆大学（University of Cologne）与姆祖贝大学（Mzumbe University）。本数据集共划分为28个模块，涵盖家庭社会人口统计学特征、志向抱负与心理控制点（locus of control）、资产持有状况、冲击暴露经历、畜牧生产与种植模式等多项内容。本次调查覆盖60个普查小区（enumeration areas）内的871户家庭，共计纳入4001名个体受访者。本数据集提供三种存储格式，分别为CSV、STATA（dta格式）以及SPSS（sav格式）。数据集同步附带数据字典与详细编码手册。
