The data include pollen, magnetic susceptibility (MS), geochemical elements and their ratios, and grain size for ZK0711 bore profile from Chaohu Lake Valley, East China. In addition, they include temperature and δ2H (Jouzel et al., 2007), CO2 (Lüthi et al., 2008) and CH4 (Loulergue et al., 2008) of the ice core record from Epica Dome C in Antarctic, benthic LR04 δ18O stack (Lisiecki and Raymo, 2005), planktonic foraminifer δ18O records from SPECMAP (Imbrie et al., 1984), planktonic foraminifer δ18O records from sediment core RC11-120 in the North Atlantic (Martinson et al., 1987) and Northern Hemisphere summer (June) insolation at 30°N (Imbrie et al.,1993), etc.
