Meta-identities in scientific publishing: traceability package for the focal literature layer (SAAF and meta-identity coding)

Traceability workbook supporting the article “Meta-Identities in Scientific Publishing: Algorithmic Mediation, Editorial Governance, and Generative AI”. It documents the full pipeline of the focal literature layer: screening of 176 records, selection of 20 priority studies, retrieval of 15 full texts and segmentation into 100 claim-bearing units. It also documents the AI-assisted coding of each unit with the closed codebooks of the Social Argumentative Analysis Framework (SAAF) and of the meta-identity model (eight dynamics, four states, modalities, input origins, outputs, agents, interpretive regimes, editorial layers and governance levels), with evidence spans and confidence scores. The workbook further contains the saturation log, the repertoires of legitimation, analyses computed by formulas over the coding, insights with their traces, and the sources of the model definitions. Third-party full texts and unit texts are not redistributed: units are identified by document, section, word count and SHA-256 hash of their text, retrieved files by MD5 checksum, and only short evidence spans are kept.
