The construction sector in Singapore grew by 6.7 percent in 2022. The COVID-19 pandemic had a negative impact on the construction sector in 2020, as movement restrictions introduced to curb the spread of the virus led to a temporary halt in construction work, among other factors. However, as movement restrictions were lifted, the construction sector bounced back and showed signs of recovery.
