Foot-stiffening socks reduce the metabolic cost of walking

The dataset contains lower limb joint kinematics, kinetics, ankle extensor muscle mechanics and activation, and metabolic cost during walking. We also included material testing of the intervention tools and de-identified anthropometric data in the Excel file.We also uploaded customized MATLAB codes for ankle gearing, fascicle based and EMG based active muscle volume calculation. Noted, we used commercialized biomechanical data analysis tool-VISUAL3D for joint level mechanical calculations. And ultrasound imaging process was preprocessed using UltraTrack, an open source MATLAB GUI.本数据集涵盖行走过程中的下肢关节运动学、动力学参数，踝伸肌力学特性与肌肉激活信号，以及代谢能耗数据。此外，数据集附带的Excel文件中还包含干预工具的材料测试数据，以及经去标识化处理的人体测量学数据。本数据集还提供了用于踝传动分析、基于肌束以及基于肌电图（Electromyography，EMG）的活动肌肉容积计算的定制化MATLAB代码。需说明的是，本研究采用商业化生物力学数据分析工具VISUAL3D完成关节层面的力学计算。超声成像流程的预处理工作则通过开源MATLAB图形用户界面（Graphical User Interface，GUI）工具UltraTrack完成。
