Investigation Of Genes Associated With Atherosclerosis In Patients With Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic, autoimmune disease affecting multiple heterogeneous organs and systems. SLE is associated with increased risk of atherosclerosis and increased cardiovascular complications. In this study, we specifically aimed to identify patients with SLE who are genetically at risk for developing atherosclerosis. Sureprint G3 Human Gene Expression 8x60K Microarray kit (Agilent technologies, Santa Clara, CA, USA) was used in our study. Genes showing differences in expression between the groups were identified by using GeneSpring GX 10.0 program. A total of 155 genes showing expression level difference were detected between SLE patients and healthy controls. In molecular network analysis. 38 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (36 females, 2 males) and 32 healthy controls (32 females) were included in the study. Sureprint G3 Human Gene Expression 8x60K Microarray kit (Agilent technologies, Santa Clara, CA, USA) was used in our study.
系统性红斑狼疮(Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, SLE)是一种慢性自身免疫性疾病,可累及多器官多系统且具有显著异质性。该疾病与动脉粥样硬化风险升高及心血管并发症发生率升高密切相关。本研究旨在筛选出具有动脉粥样硬化遗传易感风险的系统性红斑狼疮患者。本研究采用Sureprint G3人基因表达8x60K微阵列试剂盒(Sureprint G3 Human Gene Expression 8x60K Microarray kit,安捷伦科技公司,Agilent Technologies,美国加利福尼亚州圣克拉拉市)开展实验,通过GeneSpring GX 10.0软件鉴定两组间的差异表达基因。最终在系统性红斑狼疮患者与健康对照者间共检出155个差异表达基因。在分子网络分析中,本研究共纳入38例系统性红斑狼疮患者(其中女性36例、男性2例)及32例健康对照者(均为女性)。本研究再次使用了Sureprint G3人基因表达8x60K微阵列试剂盒(安捷伦科技公司,美国加利福尼亚州圣克拉拉市)进行实验。
