A project begun in 2002 to develop resources for gene discovery in potatoes. The goals are to generate 100,000 ESTs, a microarray with at least 10,000 non-redundant genes, a population of activation-tagged mutant potato lines as well as the bioinformatic tools to support the goals.

本项目于2002年启动，旨在开发用于马铃薯基因发掘的相关研究资源。项目目标包括生成100000条表达序列标签（Expressed Sequence Tags）、构建搭载至少10000个非冗余基因的基因微阵列（microarray）、建立激活标签诱变马铃薯株系群体，以及开发支撑各项研究目标的生物信息学工具。
