Supplementary Material for: Bladder Stone Incarceration in Posterior Urethral Valve Leading to Urinary Retention: a case report

Acute urinary retention can be caused by a combination of posterior urethral valves and bladder stones. Here, we introduce a case of acute urinary retention caused by stone blocking the posterior urethral valve. The patient had intermittent urinary retention for more than 1 month. CT scan showed a bladder stone in the posterior urethra. Upon cystoscopy, it was found that intracorporeal litho trisy for calculation with fullness of the PUV was performed using holmium: YAG laser. The patient had the catheter removed and was discharged smoothly on the 5th day after surgery.

急性尿潴留可由后尿道瓣膜（posterior urethral valves, PUV）与膀胱结石联合诱发。本文报道1例因结石阻塞后尿道瓣膜引发的急性尿潴留病例。该患者间断性尿潴留症状持续超过1个月。CT扫描显示其尿道后段存在膀胱结石。膀胱镜检查中，术者采用钬激光对充盈的后尿道瓣膜处结石实施体内碎石术。术后第5日，患者顺利拔除导尿管并康复出院。
