Augmenting User Geocoordinates and Mobility with ENhanced Tutorials (AUGMENT): Usability Testing

The Augmenting User Geocoordinates and Mobility with Enhanced Tutorials (AUGMENT) project aimed to provide proof of concept that a robust instructional package can support the successful use of existing, complex navigation applications, including map and rideshare apps, by a diverse group of individuals with cognitive impairments. The project also aimed to provide proof of product through a summative evaluation of the developed instructional packages. Following initial tutorial development, the materials underwent two rounds of usability testing, followed by a round of efficacy testing in which participants were asked to perform tasks using Google Maps and Uber after receiving training on one of the apps.<br>

增强用户地理坐标与移动性的进阶教程（Augmenting User Geocoordinates and Mobility with Enhanced Tutorials，简称AUGMENT）项目旨在开展概念验证：证明一套鲁棒性较强的教学套件，可帮助多样化的认知障碍群体成功使用地图应用、网约车应用等现有复杂导航应用。该项目同时还计划通过对所开发教学套件的总结性评估，完成产品验证。在初始教程开发完成后，相关教学材料先后经历两轮可用性测试，随后又开展一轮效能测试；在该测试环节中，参与者在完成其中一款应用的培训后，需使用谷歌地图（Google Maps）与优步（Uber）完成指定任务。
