Constraints to speciation despite divergence in an old haplochromine cichlid lineage

The data set contains three files. One consists of linear morphometric measurments, anal fin spine counts and sexes of wild caught Astatoreochromis alluaudi cichlids from two sites (Makobe Island and Sweya) in Lake Victoria. The second one has linear morphometric measurments, sexes and anal fin spot counts of A. alluaudi individuals that were bred in the lab from pairs of wild caught individuals. The parents are both either from Makobe Island or Sweya. The data set contains no hybrids from individuals of the two sites. The README file contains the details about the measurments. <br> The individuals were caught by angling, gill netting and minnow traps in field seasons between 2000 and 2014. <br> This data was collected under research permits no. 2013-251-ER-2014-177 (FM) and 2013-251-NA-2014-177 (OS) from the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH). Behavioural experiments were done under research permits no. BE18/15 and BE65/18 from the Cantonal Veterinary Office of Bern.

所有受试个体于2000年至2014年的野外调查季，通过垂钓、刺网捕捞及小型鱼类诱捕笼捕获。
