The Democratic Deficit on Salient Issues: Immigration and Healthcare in the States

State policy data from 2014 on four immigration issues (bilingual education, in-state tuition, drivers' licenses, and E-Verify) and three healthcare issues (doctor-assisted suicide, medical marijuana, and SCHIP). Also includes data from the 2014 University of Georgia module of the Cooperative Congressional Election study on these seven issues and forecasts of overall state issue opinion using multilevel regression with poststratification.

本数据集包含2014年美国各州针对四项移民议题（双语教育、州内学费、驾照与E-Verify系统）以及三项医疗保健议题（医生协助自杀、医用大麻、州儿童健康保险计划（State Children's Health Insurance Program, SCHIP））的政策数据。同时收录了2014年合作国会选举研究（Cooperative Congressional Election Study）佐治亚大学模块中针对上述七大议题的相关调研数据，以及基于后分层多层回归（multilevel regression with poststratification）生成的全州层面公众议题态度预测结果。
