This dataset was obtained during scientific experiments on ultra-high-speed laser cladding tungsten carbide reinforced high-entropy alloy composite coatings conducted by the Institute of New Materials, Guangdong Academy of Sciences. Raw data was collected manually, followed by analysis and validation by technical experts, resulting in the performance dataset of ultra-high-speed laser cladding tungsten carbide high-entropy alloy composite coatings. The dataset covers the alloy's chemical composition, WC content, WC particle size range, cladding process and its parameters, annealing schedule, relative density, and microhardness. By analyzing the chemical composition of tungsten carbide high-entropy alloy composite coatings, the ultra-high-speed laser cladding process, and the coating performance, this dataset aims to provide data references for scientific research and manufacturing enterprises engaged in ultra-high-speed laser cladding tungsten carbide high-entropy alloy composite coatings, and offer strong support for product development.
