WIPK and SIPK, two tobacco MAPKs, are rapidly activated by wounding. Goal is to identify the genes regulated by WIPK and SIPK. For this purpose, we produced transgenic tobacco plants in which expression of WIPK and SIPK (WIPK/SIPK-suppressed plants) is suppressed by RNAi. Single experiment; transgenic tobacco plants in which expression of WIPK and SIPK (WIPK/SIPK-suppressed plants) is suppressed by RNAi, leaves were wounded for 9 hours.

WIPK与SIPK为两种烟草来源的丝裂原活化蛋白激酶(Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinases,MAPKs),可被创伤刺激快速激活。本研究旨在鉴定受WIPK和SIPK调控的基因。为此,我们通过RNA干扰(RNA interference,RNAi)技术构建了WIPK与SIPK表达受抑制的转基因烟草植株(下称WIPK/SIPK沉默植株)。本次实验为单组实验:对上述WIPK/SIPK抑制植株的叶片施加9小时的创伤处理。
