DEVELOPMENT AND STANDARDIZATION OF ECOLOGICAL INTELLIGENCE SCALE

-The present study was aimed to construct, develop and standardize Ecological Intelligence<br>Scale (EIS). Investigators outlined the dimensions of ecological intelligence with a thorough reading of<br>the literature and after analyzing the content framed 287 items related to the determined dimensions.<br>After first tryout and seeking the opinion of the experts some of the items were reframed and deleted.<br>After second tryout on a sample of 400 students of Kumaun University, S.S.J. Campus Almora 120 items<br>were retained in the questionnaire. Reliability of the questionnaire was determined by split half method<br>and that came out to be 0.95 that determines that EIS is a highly reliable tool. Due procedure was<br>followed to ensure face validity, content validity and item validity of the tool.

本研究旨在构建、开发并标准化生态智商量表（Ecological Intelligence Scale, EIS）。研究人员通过全面研读文献，明确了生态智力的维度框架，并结合内容分析，编制了与确定维度相关的287道测试条目。经过初试并征询专家意见后，对部分条目进行了修订与删减。在对库马恩大学S.S.J.阿尔莫拉校区的400名学生开展第二轮试测后，最终保留120道条目纳入正式问卷。采用分半法检验该问卷的信度，结果为0.95，表明EIS是一款信度极高的测评工具。本研究遵循规范流程，以确保该工具的表面效度、内容效度与条目效度均达标。
