Effect of gut microbiota composition on precancerous anal lesions

We studied men were HIV-infected undergoing screening for HPV-related precancerous lesions. We analyzed the microbiota composition of biopsy and fecal samples. We obtained the total DNA from these samples and we used it as template to amplify by PCR the V3-V4 region of 16S rRNA gene.The PCR products were sequenced using MiSeq V3 (2x300 cycles)(Illumina).

本研究以接受人乳头瘤病毒（Human Papillomavirus, HPV）相关癌前病变筛查的人类免疫缺陷病毒（Human Immunodeficiency Virus, HIV）感染男性为研究对象。我们对活检组织样本与粪便样本的微生物组组成进行了分析。我们从上述样本中提取总DNA，并以其作为模板，通过聚合酶链式反应（Polymerase Chain Reaction, PCR）扩增16S rRNA基因的V3-V4可变区。采用Illumina MiSeq V3（2×300个循环）测序平台对上述PCR扩增产物进行测序。
