This dataset contains temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and fluorescence profiles collected in the shelf-break region of the South Brazil Bight (SBB) and Southern Brazilian Shelf (SBS) between 23 to 33 of south latitude in October 2014. These measurements were made during the EstARte cruise carried out by the Brazilian Ocean Acidification Network (BrOA) and High Latitude Oceanography Group (GOAL_FURG) onboard the NHOc Cruzeiro do Sul. The EstARte project aims to obtain physical and biogeochemical processes controlling carbon exchanges at the air-sea interface and ocean acidification in the South Atlantic continental shelf and slope. Salinity and temperature were measured using CTD (conductivity, temperature, and depth), and fluorescence and dissolved oxygen were obtained using auxiliary sensors installed in the CTD.
本数据集收录了2014年10月,于南巴西湾(South Brazil Bight, SBB)与巴西南部陆架(Southern Brazilian Shelf, SBS)南纬23°至33°的陆架坡折区域采集的温度、盐度、溶解氧及荧光剖面数据。上述测量工作由巴西海洋酸化网络(Brazilian Ocean Acidification Network, BrOA)与高纬度海洋学组(High Latitude Oceanography Group, GOAL_FURG)搭乘NHOc Cruzeiro do Sul科考船,在执行EstARte航次期间完成。EstARte项目旨在明确调控南大西洋大陆架与陆坡区域海-气界面碳交换及海洋酸化过程的物理与生物地球化学机制。盐度与温度通过CTD(电导率-温度-深度仪,conductivity, temperature, and depth)测得,荧光与溶解氧则通过搭载于该CTD的辅助传感器获取。
