The entire world is confronting the critical issue of population aging. Taiwan's population aging pace ranks among the fastest globally, which poses a serious challenge to Taiwan's national development while also serving as a development opportunity for its silver economy-related industries. The Asia-Pacific region features the world's largest silver economy business opportunities. Southern Taiwan has the most severe population aging rate among all regions in Taiwan. It warrants in-depth consideration how to develop an international regional elderly care industry by leveraging Southern Taiwan's industrial development advantages, climatic conditions, as well as its humanistic, geographical and historical background.
